tacet creations was founded in New York City in 2009. The company grew out of tacet ltd , which was first established in Athens, Greece in 2001 by Nicholas Karytinos and Joost Frijda. The company originally completed work on several projects in Athens on the wave of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and the large scale Real Estate master-planning that followed. tacet creations has become reputable for its design and restoration of unique high-end residential and commercial architecture. tacet creations is primarily based in New York City, while maintaining a presence in Greenwich CT and Athens.
After receiving his Bachelor of Architecture and Masters of Architecture in Urban Design from Cornell University, Nicholas participated in the furious rush for the preparation of the Olympic works in Athens and the large scale real estate projects that followed in Greece. He returned to NYC to pursue a career that has been varied, spanning large infrastructural projects, boutique residential and commercial projects of all scales including ground up construction, townhouse and apartment renovations and concept creations. Nicholas is interested in bringing unique and artful experiences into life through architecture.
Peter Zaharatos, senior designer, has had a varied and influential carrier prior to working with tacet creations. He has been a senior designer in SOM, Perkings Eastman, AECOM and more and has been the project designer for influential projects such as the second avenue subway line stations and the new police academy in College Point , Queens, NYC. Peter was educated in Pratt institute and firmly believes in the capacity or architecture to transform and improve urban environments in all scales. He currently teaches architectural design at New York City College of Technology.

We research a bespoke solution for each situation and provide clients with highly creative design solutions that are responsive to their needs.
Oded Calderon Ashkenazi received his Bachelor of Architecture as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from Cornell University. A strategic alliance was forged with Oded in 2014 introducing his unique insights in the fields of design, industrial design, light design, ecotourism, biology, biotic ecology, agricultural development and organic food manufacturing processes. Delving into these varied fields throughout an array of projects of different scales, from the micro to the macro levels, in Israel and Venezuela, Oded believes in the seamless coagulation of varied fields of knowledge and research into the cumbiotic relation between nature’s design and designing the natural. He is a frequent guest critic at the departments of Architecture in Cornell, Columbia, Harvard, Pratt and other academic institutions.
Through selective collaborations with designers, architects, consultants & select contractors, tacet creations has been able to forge alliances to address any project requirement.
